Supervising Engineer (Safety Response)
THE POSITION The Supervising Engineer plays a critical role in advancing Sacramento’s traffic safety and mobility goals. With increasing political attention, emerging technologies, a broader definition of mobility that encompasses active transportation and equity, and growing complexity in traffic safety, the Supervising Engineer ensures that the City provides timely, high-level engineering review and guidance. The Supervising Engineer (Design, Entitlements and Studies) leads teams responsible for ensuring the public transportation network meets city, local, state, and federal standards and best practices for safe, connected, and equitable mobility.
