Like building new things? The third largest city in San Mateo County, Redwood City serves a population of 86,754 in the heart of the Silicon Valley. The City prides itself on having a strong employment base with world-class businesses and a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly downtown. As a result of a recent organizational assessment, the City recently formed an Engineering & Transportation Department and is searching for its first Director to lead a team of 24 FTE and a work program with more than $50 million in FY 2023-24 capital projects.
