Urban Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in the Philadelphia, New York City, or Cherry Hill areas who will develop and lead mechanical engineering design projects. The types of projects include renovations and ground-up designs for high-rise buildings, multi-unit housing, commercial and academic buildings, public facilities, transit/bus stations, and maintenance facilities.
Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
Responsible for project management of existing and future projects
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines
Generate new business and maintain existing business
Act as the lead/lone contact for clients
Manage project budgets
Responsible for the technical direction of other professionals and technical staff
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
3 - 9 years of experience in mechanical engineering and design
Experience with Revit and AutoCAD is required
PE license preferred
HVAC system design experience required
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively work with clients
