Power Technician – TEGG Group
Assist clients in maintaining their electrical distribution system assets to prevent untimely and costly power interruptions / outages. Scope of Work: Evaluate electrical distribution systems (both on-line (energized) and off-line (de-energized))using state of the art technologies for diagnosis and recommendations for remedial action where needed. On-Line Technologies: Thermographic Imaging (Infrared Cameras) Ultrasound (Listening to internal parts of an asset) Voltage Drop investigation using Digital Multi-Meters (Fluke 1750 / 43B / Etc.) Power Quality studies using data recording devices. (Dranetz, AEMC, Etc.) Partial Discharge (insulation breakdown) using both TEV meters and Doble On-Linetest equipment.
