Job Description:
The VP, Maintenance Services is an executive role responsible for leading and managing the field service maintenance, quality assurance and sourcing teams as well as developing and deploying strategy to achieve optimal operational efficiency for maintenance services. This position will constantly evaluate the execution of work processes and suggest opportunities for continuous improvement, resulting in improved performance in key financial and operational metrics. This leader will provide strategic vision and framework leading to process enhancement inclusive of workforce optimization in a scalable and repeatable fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and leads the service provider team in executing the business strategies
Responsible for the overall safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery station operations
Problem-solves for closing gaps between performance and goals
Will set and clarify requirements and expectations for Service Delivery managers and Quality Assurance managers; measures performance, provides feedback, and holds Ops Managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments
Supports day-to-day management of relationships with multiple Service Providers
Develops best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon KPIs for future expansion; presents operational metrics regularly to the senior leadership team
Plans, manages and coordinates all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary services and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of service line demand
Create appropriate Service Provider strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Logistics, Procurement or related field
15+ years of direct management experience and 3+ experience at senior corporate levels
Develop best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon KPIs for future expansion
Demonstrated track record of delivering performance and financial based results in high pressure environments
Experience with the full lifecycle staffing, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations
Strong analytical capability; track record of digging into data and finding solutions for a variety of operational problems
Excellent communication skills (including local language and English, written and verbal)
Experience managing third party resources on a regional/national scale
Experience managing contingent workforce in a business with peak seasons
