Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized, award-winning professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time plumbing engineer. Responsibilities include designing plumbing distribution systems: storm, sanitary and/or process drains, and domestic water associated with industrial food and beverage facilities; designing compressed air and natural gas piping systems; mentoring less experienced staff; and conducting periodic construction site inspections. Travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have all of the following:
a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering (with a mechanical emphasis)
at least four years of relevant plumbing design experience
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:
Certified plumbing designer certificate
Knowledge of codes, statutes, and laws related to plumbing design and construction
Revit or Navisworks experience
The ideal candidate will also have a PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states.
