Coker University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Clinical (Teaching) Faculty of Data Analytics beginning August 2022. This is a full-time, 9-month faculty position with competitive salary and benefits reporting to the Dean of the School of Business. 

The University is seeking an individual who is passionate about teaching and inclusive pedagogy; dedicated to developing meaningful, collegial working relationships with students, faculty, and staff; who is eager to contribute interests and ideas for new and innovative courses and multidisciplinary programs; and who is committed to actively contributing to Coker’s mission. The successful candidate will be expected to advise students, fulfill institutional service obligations, and maintain professional standing in their field. The successful candidate should also be willing to engage in and recruit industry representatives. 

Preferred qualifications include an earned Ph.D. (ABD and Master’s degree will be considered) in business/data analytics, information systems, information technology, or a related field. Background in teaching face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses is preferred. Candidates should be prepared to teach courses in analytics, information systems, and informatics across multiple programs. Previous relevant industry experience expected.
