Bioengineering Professor - Tenure Track Division of Engineering NYU Abu Dhabi
The Division of Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in its Bioengineering program in the broad area of Bio/Optical Imaging. Available opening is at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates with a strong record of interdisciplinary research in this area are preferred. We particularly welcome applications from female scholars as well as members of traditionally underrepresented groups.

Successful candidates will receive a generous startup package, as well as renewable research funding to hire research assistants and postdocs, and will also have access to internal funding. It is also expected that the successful candidate will become Associated Faculty of NYU that allows research privileges and access to programs and facilities at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering in New York.

Qualifications Candidates must have a PhD degree in Bioengineering or related disciplines and must have demonstrated an ability to develop and lead high-quality research and attract competitive external funding.

We will begin reviewing applications on March 15, 2021, and will continue until the position is filled. Shortlisted candidates are expected to interview remotely in Spring 2021. We anticipate that successful candidates can start the appointment and relocate to Abu Dhabi in the academic year 2021-2022.
