MnROAD Project Engineer
Minnesota Department of Transportation
This position is responsible for working on contracted research with major pavement research partnerships that MnDOT is leading or participating in. These partnerships include current National Road Research Alliance (NRRA), National Center of Asphalt Technologies (NCAT), Minnesota DOT, and the Minnesota Local Road Research Board (LRRB) and new partnerships in the future. Initial focus of this position will be to support research contracts with NCAT related to asphalt mix and pavement preservation and taking an active role in the leadership and support of these initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Note to applicants: This announcement is being posted at two (2) different classes: Engineer Senior and Engineer Graduate 2. The final job class will be determined based on applicants’ qualifications.
Engineer Senior Minimum Qualifications: Licensure as a professional civil engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design (AELSLAGID) or ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity.
