Penn State Harrisburg's School of Science, Engineering, and Technology‘s Civil Engineering program is accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering to start August 2020. The School offers Bachelor and Master of Civil Engineering, among other undergraduate and graduate degrees in Engineering, Science, and Engineering Technology. The School seeks candidates with strong background in teaching and research in construction, transportation, and related fields. Candidate should have college teaching experience, a promising research and publication agenda in civil engineering, and a commitment to university service and public outreach. The ideal candidate will be a multi-faceted team player with strengths in teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. Faculty members in the School of Science, Engineering, and Technology are expected to pursue and sustain scholarly research and publication; recruit and advise students; supervise graduate students and laboratories; perform the administrative tasks required to maintain Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology accreditation and contribute to the promotion and operation of the department, college, university, and profession through service.
