The Lafayette College Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering (CEE) invites applications for a full-time, visiting Assistant Professor position commencing in August 2020. Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. in civil engineering, possess enthusiasm for teaching, and the ability to teach courses in statics and mechanics of materials.
Lafayette College is a small, private, undergraduate-only institution located in eastern Pennsylvania, 70 miles from both New York City and Philadelphia. Lafayette emphasizes superior education in engineering and the liberal arts, placing a strong emphasis on student-faculty interaction in the classroom, in research, and in extracurricular activities.
