GeoEngineers, Inc. Staff Geotechnical Engineer 2 Redmond, Washington
Duties:
Perform geotechnical engineering to monitor GeoEngineers’ subsurface exploration programs for projects with soft, fine-grained soils. Document field conditions, monitor earthwork construction, write field reports on soil condition and construction related projects as they relate to geotechnical engineering. Research technical geological literature and historical information. Interpret subsurface data and perform technical analysis of results on geotechnical engineering issues such as seismic issues and slope stability. May participate in project management activities such as project budgeting, proposal writing and client liaison or be assigned small projects to manage. Domestic travel may be required up to 25% of time
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering field and 1 year of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer, Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant or another geotechnical engineering occupation. Experience must include:
