Minimum Qualification Requirements:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in civil engineering.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: One year of registered professional Civil Engineering experience in soil mechanics and foundations involving the investigation of soil and rock below the ground to determine its properties for the design of foundations for bridge and highway structures, design of roadway pavement, and the assessment and mitigation of hazards from earth movement and rock fall.
License Requirement: Current State of Hawaii registration as a professional engineer in Civil Engineering.
