A standards engineer manages committees which develop technical standards, guidelines and educational material for pumps and related equipment and assists with the operations of Technical Affairs. The incumbent will have responsibility over the creation of technical documents and educational content produced by HI members who meet both physically and virtually.
The position requires exceptional leadership, project and procedural management, enthusiasm for technical learning, organization, and both written and verbal communication skills. Technical aptitude along with an understanding of pumps, applications and markets is beneficial.
The position requires travel to conferences for up to 7 consecutive days, three times a year.
