We’re looking for a Mid-Level Civil Engineer to support our growing water/wastewater infrastructure practice in the Seattle area. In this engineering consulting role, you will work directly with senior leadership and quickly grow to take responsibility for project management of diverse municipal sewer and water system projects, including utility pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, storage tanks, site improvements, and other related infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will be an up-and-coming project manager that is proactive, affable, self-directed, and capable of leading multidiscipline teams.
Lead multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, and construction for all sizes of water and wastewater utilities conveyance, storage, and site development projects
Communicate proactively with clients and articulate project constraints and goals
Gather information, develop, and evaluate alternatives, and prepare engineering reports
Perform engineering calculations and prepare detailed design drawings and specifications
Manage work programs, project schedules, and budgets
Write technical memorandums, engineering reports, and planning studies
Coordinate a diverse array of subconsultants
Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or mechanical engineering, or related field
Proven expertise with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, including client engagement, technical expertise
Ability to lead, train, motivate, and work within a team
Preference for those with a Professional Engineer (PE) license
Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and prepare written reports and documents
Experience with municipal and public sector clients is a plus
A reputation of integrity, intelligence, and the ability to exercise good judgement
