We seek a Quality Engineer who will help develop, implement, enforce, and improve quality policies and procedures. Primary focus shall be on compliance to standards and regulations, with special emphasis on technical process validation, documented controls, and continuous improvement.
Our ideal candidate will have skills in statistics, procedure implementation, and quality auditing with a focus on improving quality metrics and results. They must be proficient in problem solving using scientific method and have excellent writing and communication skills.
The successful candidate will ensure compliance to corporate quality policies, as well as ISO 9001/2015 regulations. The candidate will execute planned and systematic activities in a quality system so that quality requirements are fulfilled:
Interpret and implement ISO9000/2015 standards.
Communicating with management, suppliers, and customers on quality issues.
Complete required reports and summaries for regulatory/industry agencies.
Assist in preforming internal audits.
Investigate customer and supplier quality issues and requests.
Conduct and oversee investigations for in-process nonconformances, audit nonconformances and post market events to identify root cause and corrective actions in a timely and compliant manner.
Collaborate with operations to define and implement systems that enhance efficiency, productivity and quality.
Provide training to team members, as required, for implementing quality initiatives.
Represent the company to vendors, customers, and appropriate regulatory officials in matters related to quality.
Assist in development of annual quality plans and recommendations for continual improvement in conjunction with the VP of Operations and Quality Manager.
