We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our ITS Solutions group and provide technical support on McCain products both hardware and software. Provide the highest quality of customer service and support to our current and future customers. Respond to customer inquiries both internal and external in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide both office and field support on McCain products.
Provide integration of McCain software into Customers’ Network.
Be professional under pressure.
Complete daily reports as required to account for time spent on a particular project.
Provide company interface with customer and/or end user.
Provide technical support in person and via phone or E-Mail.
Provide one-on-one technical training.
Communicate with others within the department and other departments as needed.
Handle other requests from management in a timely manner.
Skills and Qualifications:
Background in Electrical Engineering or educational equivalent.
Must be mechanically inclined.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to interact with customers and all levels of personnel in a professional manner.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be computer literate and have a working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Knowledge of network devices a plus.
Knowledge of Communication protocols a plus.
Knowledge of computers a plus.
Knowledge of Distributed Networks a plus.
Knowledge of General Telecommunications a plus.
Some electronic control equipment background desirable.
Must have ability to use basic hand tools.
Traffic Signal Systems knowledge a plus.
Traffic Signal Systems Maintenance experience a plus.
Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Willingness to travel – 25% of the time. It could fluctuate, depending on customer needs.
